Four Bournemouth University graduates shortlisted for the 2021 Academy Awards

The shortlist of the 93rd Academy Award has been announced, and four BU graduates are shortlisted for the visual effects unit nomination. They are all professionals trained by the National Centre for computer animation (NCCA) under BU.

Andrew lockley, Matthew kasmir, Anders Langlands & Ben Jones, who graduated in 2000, 1996, 2003 and 2006 respectively, are the four finalists. Please visit the official website of the Academy Awards to find the shortlisted works of BU alumni.

Hull University welcomes the huge investment and employment surge in wind energy

According to a report released this week by the Offshore Wind Industry Council (OWIC), most of the jobs will be created in some regions of the country that urgently need to see upgrads, including Humber.

The report is based on the most comprehensive survey of the full economic benefits of offshore wind power in UK history and also predicts that the UK private sector will invest 60.8 billion pounds in the next five years.

UK Postgraduate applications will be open on 2021/7/1

The UK government recently announced that the new postgraduate course will be open to international students who have successfully completed a bachelor's degree or above in the UK on July 1, 2021. The students will require new applications, which are only feasible in the UK.  Every application requires a visa fee of 700 pounds and a full immigration health surcharge of 624 pounds per year.
